How much effort should I put in to optimizing (cutting up) images for the web? Yeah, I meant splitting out css'able stuff as well, not just using images. So in regards to dom complexity, you are saying replacing an <img> tag with something like this jsfiddle.net/NrEXK is worth it, right? (markup only to show example complexity) |

Extract inner glow to separate layer? Takes quite a bit of playing around to get it right, but I think that's because I care more about pixel-perfect accuracy than the artists do :) |
