I'm a founder and media/marketing "engineer." My current project is Think Switch, which develops products and advocates infotainment media utilizing animated infographics. Think Switch is currently launching Evernote® Animated, an infographic video training system for the software . I am also the star and creator of the documentary web series Breaking Down; lots of fun. Before venturing out on my own, I worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks.
I was born in Seattle, moved to S. Cal in '95, and currently make my home in no particular place on the globe. I have since lived in Osaka, Bali, Los Cabos, and spent one month at a Zen temple. I love figuring out this whole business thing, cooking, singing in the shower, getting better at the piano, and, I don't know about you, but I gotta dance. I also tend to get into the weirdest situations. People tend to agree with that, but they're never surprised when it happens. Why?

Illustrator: Altering color of many objects from differnt layers Importing from PS to AE does not allow me to 'continuously resterize,' like from an AI file. I'm bound to the tiny size of the icon. I guess I'll just pick what I need and import to AI, the into AE. Seems like such a pin to put vector files into PS when AI is probably where they were created in the first place. Thanks for all the info! |

Illustrator: Altering color of many objects from differnt layers Thank you, I will. I'm a little embarrassed. I'll include my AE questions as well. |

Illustrator: Altering color of many objects from differnt layers I'm sorry, sir, I didn't make it clear that I am trying to import from PS into AI. I meant to say "After I open it in Illustrator," then I Make Objects from Layers. I'm using these in After Effects. Can you import vector objects into AE from Photoshop? |

What do you call these infographic icons? Looking further into it, The Emoji / Pictograph is pretty much what it is. I am seeing slight variation in size with Emoji / Pictograms after looking around. |

What do you call these infographic icons? I think the icon thing is pretty spot on, after all. It's so darn close, I don't think there's another name for it outside of Emoji / Pictograms / Icons. I will report back if I find out! Thanks! |

What do you call these infographic icons? Now I do want to make clear that this is just a pallet of assets used in the video above. I apologize for the small sizes. Flat line art also seems to be more towards the detailed side of things. Google images brought up more artistically detailed examples. |

What do you call these infographic icons? Yes, thanks; I was going down the 'icon' path for a while, but I think it's, indeed, something else like it. They are certainly not constrained to these small size limitations. |
