Authoring newbie with photoshop Export layersLayers to Files exports only 4 png files from 100 layers

I have a severe problem...
I am trying to export my layers intoto png. files. 

Googling returnsuggests that File->Script->Export Layers to File.File → Script → Export Layers to Files… is suitable... However

However, this takes ages and whento complete and for some reason it exports only 4 images from theout of 100 layers totally irrelevant. Any advice

Export Layers to Files exports only 4 png files from 100 layers

I am trying to export my layers to png files. 

Googling suggests that File → Script → Export Layers to Files… is suitable.

However, this takes ages to complete and for some reason it exports only 4 images out of 100 layers.

Why?
