Explanations of SVG Export settings for SVG image in Illustrator?

Just got Illustrator and getting familiar with the program, are there any specific export settings that I need to be aware of in order to export as a .SVG file? There appearsappear to be several settings, i.e. Styling, Font, ect, ectetc. Should I just leave everything as isWould it be possible to provide explanations for each option and what they do?
