You can't use Select > Same > Fill Color to select them all?

Sep 20, 2017 at 3:13 | comment | added | Jack Nagy | @joojaa This is the closest I got, but this also selects a bunch of other stuff in my document (especially as not all the grays are exactly the same). How do I limit my selection to just one sublayer?
Sep 20, 2017 at 3:13 | comment | added | Jack Nagy | @Scott There are hundreds of the shapes which are only strokes and I'm not sure how to select them and only them!
Sep 20, 2017 at 3:11 | comment | added | Jack Nagy | @WELZ Yes, one gradient across all objects. When I select the entire group, the gradient 'fills' all the objects too, though. Is there a better way than having to manually select every outline and avoid selecting the inner fills?

Sep 19, 2017 at 17:55 | comment | added | Scott | The strokes appear expanded. Is there a reason you can't simply apply the gradient tot he shapes which were strokes?
Sep 19, 2017 at 17:28 | comment | added | Welz | You should be able to apply a gradient as the outline of everything (I may be missing something)
Sep 19, 2017 at 17:27 | comment | added | Welz | Am I correct to assume that you want one single gradient across all objects?
