Inkscape 0.92 : How to add file name and file path to a graphics for information? (like in MSOffice)

Is there a quick and easy way to add the file path and file name of the recent inkscape graphics file (automatically updated) into my graphics, for documentation/information purposes of the source? Just like in MS Office, Word or Excel i am able to add some sort of "intelligent label" or "field" to my document, which contains the path and filename and gets automatically updated relatively easy, so someone seeing the graphics in some document can easily figure out where this graphics is stored/located. like a file path or url (but dynamic), not static.

i have already searched google, superuser and this network for anything matching, but did not manage to find anything like it.

Anyone got an idea how this is achievable? thanks!

  • Here is a similar question, with a workaround. You can request a new feature to Inkscape developers. – Paolo Gibellini Jul 13 '18 at 12:45
