I have this image in Illustrator:

The stripes are individual ungrouped objects that are perfectly aligned to each other and has no stroke.

When I export the file to emf, insert it in PowerPoint, and ungroup the object the image gets distorted in this way:

enter image description here

I tried exporting the image 10x larger and resizing back to normal size after ungrouping, but it didn't improve the quality. The stripes that have white space between them vary by the zoom level in PowerPoint.

  • Dont extprt as emf just paste it directly. Also because of conflation your objects need to over/underlap – joojaa Jul 16 '18 at 8:45
  • I need the image to be in a emf format for me and others to be able to edit the colors of the stripes in PowerPoint. – Victor Jörnving Jul 16 '18 at 8:57
  • No you dont, just ungroup the object after paste – joojaa Jul 16 '18 at 8:59
  • When I just copy paste the image into PowerPoint you are not able to ungroup the object. – Victor Jörnving Jul 16 '18 at 9:00
  • Thats weird in my power point you can. You a mac user by any chance? Anyway theres no way of increasing the precision of EMF. You can try makiong the image huge and then scaling down – joojaa Jul 16 '18 at 9:02
