I saved the file as 1000 x 1000. Now I need to open the same file in Illustrator but when I open it, the file size is so small and It cant fit my artboard of 960px x 960px...When I try scaling it obviously its too big. How do I fix this?

  • Hi. Welcome to GDSE. The problem is that the images you are tyring to use are too small (low resolution). Unfortunately, raster images can't be rescaled up wihout degradation in quality. It's just not possible. – Billy Kerr Sep 14 at 10:15

Sounds to me like you do know what the document size should be. You said it right there: 960x960px. — Are you aware that not every image you can find on Google is free to use commercially? – Joonas Sep 14 at 11:00

Also, Joonas is correct . . . you need to be very careful about using images you found on google. Nearly all images are copyrighted, and they certainly can't be used commercially without the permission of the copyright owner. You don't want to end up being sued! – Billy Kerr Sep 14 at 11:03
