I'm having something super weird happen. I was wondering if someone here maybe knows why. While designing this logo in illustrator from Shapes - A circle and a triangle I use the pathfinder tool to divide the object so I can make the "C" and the "A" - whenever I delete the extra parts and do anything like increase the stroke or offset path it transforms the corners from being a perfect circle and makes them jet out unevenly. How would I keep the edges along the same path of the circle so it is uniform?

See the edges of the circle they go out instead of following original path of circle
