enter image description hereI am converting fles from jpeg to transparent png files. I clean them up by hand and convert jpeg to png with Paint3D and then convert the png to a png with transparent background in the same program. So far so good but the finished image on the transparent png is a darkish grey not black.

It is not dark enough and I am told that I need to add "a black colour overlay Layer style" which will make it darker but I have absolutely no idea how to do it. Is there another way of making the image darker? Help please!!!!

  • Without understanding fully what you've done and what is wrong, it's not possible to answer. Can you please add some images to explain better? – Vikas Jul 11 at 5:18
  • I have attached an image in my original question so you may see what the roblem is :) – Laurence Jul 11 at 8:14
  • This image is a bit complex and has sketchy details. If you've Photoshop, you could easily remove BG. – Vikas Jul 11 at 9:39

So you're using Paint 3D to work a 2D image? I'm confused, are you sure this is the correct software? Also why do you need to convert to PNG first then convert to transparent. Also how are you making it transparent? Can you edit your question to add these details? – Luciano Jul 12 at 9:50
