When you crop something, you end up keeping what you selected. What if you want to instead keep what's outside the crop box when the crop box is in the middle of the page?

What software are you using? – Zach Saucier Sep 3 '19 at 16:52

err select and hit delete. Anyway its not possible to have a page that has a hole in it in most applications. – joojaa Sep 3 '19 at 17:01

I don't think you mean "crop" -- If you want to delete something in the center of a PDF page, you delete that content, "crop" has nothing to do with it. – Scott Sep 3 '19 at 19:43
  • What I'd like to do is cut an entire section from the page - left edge to right edge. For example, I might have an 8.5x14 page (legal size) and might want to cut 3" out of the middle somewhere so that the page is 8.5x11 (letter size). That's easy to do with crop if what you want to delete is at the top or bottom - but the middle? – Russ Sep 9 '19 at 18:06
