I'm using PowerPoint templates from my company. In all of their slides, they have put some sort of grid lines outside of each slide. I want to remove them, but I cannot.

These lines cannot be removed just by deleting. They don't go away using any settings under "Grid and Guides". I wasn't able to do anything in Slide Master settings. Here's a screenshot from the Slide Master. Same lines can be seen in every slide.

Tiny grid lines outside of the slide

It is very uncomfortable when scrolling slides up or down, because you have to do some extra scroll to get to the bottom of these lines to pass to the next slide.

  • If you can't select or delete them, then a guess would be that these lines are part of the master slide. So you'd need to edit that, if that's the problem. – Billy Kerr Sep 25 at 21:31
  • They are a a part of the master slide. In fact, the screenshot is from the master slide. But since I have to use this template for most of my slides, I don't want it to be there. – Ash3323 Sep 26 at 13:46
  • Note that with a vertical columnar twelve-count, this is clearly based on bootstrap as a design guideline... a great underlying grid to work with. – GerardFalla Sep 26 at 16:36
  • Thanks Gerard. I agree that it may come handy. I prefer I have the choice of removing or keeping them, as opposed to having them all the time. – Ash3323 Sep 27 at 15:30
