I've had this client for a year now and I quit my 9-5 because of them cause they will pay me monthly like its a full time job but i dont have to go to their office. They want me to work on a new brand again for a retainer work so I said thats additional 15k Php. Which is a lot cheaper than if i do a project based. Like I charged 45k for a week's worth of a menu, posters, etc. for that brand.

So its so much cheaper if they just get me for retainer work which is just 15k per month. Is this a wrong move? I made it cheaper because i have a secured job for x amount of months and i know i will have money definitely.

I wanna know how do you guys deal with this type of work.

You're free to choose whatever costs you want. They are free to reject your pricing. That's business. In general, yes, for the more work you're guaranteed the lower the price but only to an extent. – Zach Saucier Dec 16 '19 at 16:01
  • Sounds excessively low. – joojaa Dec 18 '19 at 14:56
