Been trying to understand the concpet of "Flowline" but cannot find examples of it. I know once I get to see it clearly, I won't be able to unsee it.

This is the concept I've found everywhere:

Flowlines are horizontal lines that break the space into horizontal bands. They can be used to help guide the eye across the page and can be used to impose starting and stopping points for text and images to be aligned

But no examples on designs.

  • A very simple example would be some answers and/or questions on this site.... such as this question where horizontal rules are used to break the visuals.. i.e. flowlines. – Scott Apr 14 at 5:07
