I have a Word document with an index that contains both standalone entries and entries referencing bookmarks spanning several pages. The latter show as page ranges in the index, e.g. "Concept x: 5–7". Good so far.

Next step is to typeset the document in InDesign. Standalone index entries seem to work just fine. However, the problem is that page ranges do not show completely in InDesign, only the first page of each range is listed. Applied to the example above, where Word lists "Concept x: 5–7", InDesign lists only "Concept x: 5".

How do I get InDesign to display the full range as "5–7"?
