I have a design to print on a t-shirt. Some of it is a mask. How will the printer react to that kind of file and if it reacts bad, how can I as fast as possible remove those elements to keep the grunge texture?

design [mnask[2]

  • Is the mask constructed of vector or raster objects? What method of production is being used (silk screening, sublimation, etc)? – Scott Jul 27 '17 at 17:25
  • The mask is vectorized. The method is screen printing (silk printing). – pawelosvfx Jul 27 '17 at 17:42
  • Coming from a printing background, you should be alright as long as you have it set as a clipping mask. – Ovaryraptor Jul 27 '17 at 17:48

Flatten everything before sending to print to be sure. – Webster Jul 27 '17 at 19:52

.. and be aware, very minute detail may be lost in silkscreening. – Scott Jul 27 '17 at 20:10
