Trying to save Gif in photoshop, but saves frames as separate images? When I click the file it doesn't save as an animated gif.. help?

I do File > Export > Save for web > Make sure it's a gif > Save > Images only and Default

  • Care to show us screenshot(s) of what you're doing? It sounds right, so I'm curious if there's something else going on – Manly Oct 12 '17 at 13:59
  • Did you check the "Animation" option in the save for web dialog? – Billy Kerr Nov 11 '17 at 17:23

1) Set each frame duration to 1 second. Then go to File > Export > Video render

Step 1

2) Select "Images sequence", "All images" and set the framerate to 1 image per second.

3) Click on Render, and each frame should be exported to an image.
