So many interests, so little time.

I can safely say one of my earliest disappointments as a child was the realization that I have only so much time and energy to invest in each subject that fascinates me. Stubborn as I am, I managed to dabble in each of them to some extent or the other though it worried my teachers and relatives to know end. ("She's studying Psychology?" "Didn't she start that Journalism program a while back?" "No, she's actually a dental student." "But what about all that time she spends making websites?" "That's only when she isn't writing." And so on.)

StackExchange is simultaneously daunting and tempting with all the choices it offers. Now if I could only keep from getting distracted...
